200 minutes of networking between over fifty homeworkers and twenty-seven suppliers from across the industry, hailed a huge success for the Vertical Travel Group. Bredbury Hall, Stockport was home for tour operators, cruise operators and ancillary sales suppliers, at last weeks speed-networking event.
Agents from Your Holiday Booking, Miss Ellies Travel, Instant Holidays, Travel Village Group, The Travel Boutique and Mid-counties Consortium member’s gained valuable product knowledge, made new contacts and took away ideas to help increase sales. Passport stickers generated prizes from a variety of suppliers, which ranged from Holiday Vouchers and tickets, to long-haul holidays and hampers.
Prime organiser of the event, Paula Nuttall, Group Recruitment and Development Director for Vertical Travel Group, says, “The event achieved exactly what we set out to do; our agents run their own businesses, albeit under the Vertical Travel Group umbrella. Insights on a one-to-one basis provided good opportunities for suppliers to grow their individual contacts, hear from the agents directly- and as a group we collectively built new business relationships.”
